A Speculative Post-human Design
Inspired by Ghost in the Shell
- In the 23rd century, the theme of 'evolution' has gradually taken the world by storm. Proto-humans choose to stay unchanged, neo-monkeys cautiously explore, while posthumans evolve radically. Groups with differing stances confront each other in a clash of ideas. We envision six possible directions for societal evolution, categorizing those who choose to evolve into six groups: Rawers, Blurers, Vegebodians, Cheesers, Flyers, and Lovers.
Evolution is an inevitable path for humanity. From primitive monkeys to tool-using Homo erectus, from natural flesh to cyborg bodies, humanity has always walked the path of evolution. The lagging cyber era has passed, and now, as we stand once more at the crossroads of evolution, facing the question, 'What does it mean to be human?'—how will each of these six groups answer?
In this collaboration, we created a lifestyle magazine offering a glimpse into the philosophies of life and death for these evolutionists of the future. Additionally, we presented this vision through a launch event—Professor Green unveiled a special anniversary issue of the magazine.
