Details

The Internet Culture Development Association is an industry organization jointly established by several internet companies. It is dedicated to enhancing the standardization, safety, and innovation of online content while promoting the orderly regulation of internet content publishing practices. Guidance on Creation and Publication of Social Media Platform is a document issued by the Internet Culture Development Association that provides behavioral guidelines for publishing content on social media platforms.

Thanks to the development of social media platforms, more people have become publishers. In the post-digital era, these platforms have turned many publishers into puppets of algorithms and traffic metrics. The Guide interprets these algorithm-driven "patterned behaviors" prevalent in reality. When readers attempt to compare the methods described in the book with real-world social media content or use the book's approaches to create a "work" and publish it on actual social media platforms, they complete an interaction between the audience and the work, facilitating critical reflection on today's algorithm-and-traffic-driven content publishing landscape.

Whether you are a digital native, a creator on social media platforms, or an older adult attempting to integrate into the social media world, the Guide offers diverse interpretations tailored to readers from various backgrounds.
